UNBD Open Call for International Artists
Artists working in all mediums are welcome to apply, all accepted artists are provided a shared studio.

We have 2 Programs to apply,
- Artists Studio
- Writer's room
Program Structure:
- Visual artists can focus on their artistic practices and research while engaging in creative work through this program. After the one-month studio program, they have the opportunity to showcase their work in an exhibition at the Unbound Gallery.
- Writer's room: Writers, dancers, performers, and musicians have access to the Green Room for their work and practice. After completing their program, artists have the opportunity to showcase or present their work at the Unbound Gallery.
Studio / Workspace
A private studio has easels, stools, ample wall space, and both natural, and artificial lighting.
Expectations towards to artists
Exhibition opportunities/artist talk/studio visits. We respect that not all artists will want to host studio visits and/or show what they have produced therefore this is handled on an individual basis. If you have specific requests please feel free to include it in your project proposal.

Artist's Studio Fee includes :
– studio access during opening hours
– access to the workshops and equipment according to each participant's experience
– project discussion
– Accommodation, Materials, meals are not included.
2 weeks – $600 or $1100
4 weeks – $1200 or $2200
Artists have to make sure when applying that they can cover the costs of the accommodation, residency fee, travel, materials, and food.
Artists must be over 21 years old at the time of their arrival.

Writer's Room Fee includes :

*We are currently reviewing applications on a rolling basis, our average response rate is 10 days.
Note regarding (financial) support:
UNBD International Program is an (artist-run) organization founded and operated by (interdisciplinary) artists and directors. By choice, we are not a non-profit and do not receive money from grants or other sources.
